Prince Hamlet of Denmark is devastated by his father's mysterious death and the swift remarriage of his mother, Queen Gertrude, to his uncle Claudius, who has seized the throne. When the ghost of Hamlet’s father reveals that Claudius murdered him, Hamlet sets out on a path of revenge that spirals into madness, betrayal, and bloodshed. The tragedy culminates in a deadly confrontation that leaves the royal family—and Hamlet himself—dead.
